We walk you through the process of deconstructing Crib “Number 2,” the one for which we don’t have the original instructions.  A model of pedagogy; even if you don’t care about cribs, you will still find much to enjoy and from which to benefit in this soon-to-be-classic instructional video!

Leah imbibes of a Tulip Trees essence

Leah imbibes of a Tulip Tree's essence

  • Leah: This is how you make an eye.  I’m making a hot balloon.
  • Isaac: I’m making a rain. I’m making a rain cloud. I’m making the cheeks.
  • Leah: My pool has no black stuff in it.  Look, I made a ghost eye.
  • Isaac: I’m making a ghost. These are the legs of it.
  • Leah: Good paper, Isaac.
  • Isaac: I’m making a truck. This is the smokestack coming out. My truck is not a truck, it’s a machine.
  • Leah: I’m making a race car that will eat these lines. I’m making a Cyclops. I’m making big balls and little balls.
  • Isaac: I’m making a running ball. I’m making a house.
  • Leah: I’m putting some little kings inside my house for my kings.
  • Isaac: I’m making a haunted house with ghosts in it. The ghosts have to have steps to come out of the house.
  • Leah: These are the pictures of ghosts trying to scare the “conkas” but they can’t scare, they’re just balls.
  • Isaac: Maybe they don’t have legs.
  • Leah: They do have legs but they can’t walk because they eat all the time.
  • Leah: This is a fake rock with bad things under it.
  • Leah: The little kids weren’t listening to our words so we put them in jail.
