We’re going to Salem later today to hear Welsh hymns in honor of St. David’s Day (tomorrow).  But before we go, two video diaries.

  1. Isaac “talks” about his Monster Truck, Leah and Papa play in the background, short:

  2. Leah “reads” you a book or two, rather long:

  3. This one is from two days ago.  Not as interesting, but has a thing about a dragon in it.

Latest video from the archive.  Here we are in May 2008 reading the book “David Goes to School.”  We offer two hosted locations of the same original file.  Compare the experience and tell us what you think!

Men of the Meadow recently watched Patrick Stewart’s mid-90s film adaptation of Wilde’s short story The Canterville Ghost.  We didn’t like it.  Neve Campbell is in it, too.  It drove us to read the original story to see just what remained of the author’s creation.

Pac-Man and Canterville Ghosts?

Pac-Man and Canterville Ghosts?

Lost for almost 1 year, our DVD of Cars was rediscovered today, which means we are now able again to watch the Mater and the Ghost Light bonus feature, which fits into our study of all things Ghost.

Men of the Meadow are playing with trains at the local toy store having just feasted our eyes on the full moon rising up in the cold clear Drcember sky. This moon is known as the Cold or Long Nights moon, by the way.

Do a google search on “moon names” and pick the entry from the Farmer’s Almanac for more interesting moon names.

FYI Our calculations reveal the next blue moon will be December 31, 2009. I predict some related buzz or cult activity linked to ambiguous Bible or Nostradamus passages.
